The team from CONCEPT completed a presentation entitled “CONCEPT; Medicines and Careers for the Future” for the transition year placement group.
The group were introduced to advanced therapeutics medicinal products and how SFI-funded CONCEPT is supporting research and rapid advancement in this space.
The group learned about the various career paths available for those interested in working in ATMPs and how the three main routes of research, pharma industry and biomedical science differ. The next placement will take place in Jan 2024 and will include a tour and key presentations.
