Dr. Sukhraj Dhami

Cell Line Development and Gene Therapy Scientist

Dr. Sukhraj Dhami joined NIBRT in 2023 as CONCEPT Cell Line Development and Gene Therapy Scientist. Sukhraj has a BSc in Biotechnology and during his time in Bristol-Myers Squibb built significant expertise in early-stage drug discovery programs, lead validation, cell line development, and recombinant protein production.

Sukhraj progressed to complete a PhD in Cancer Biology in National University of Ireland, Galway, where he developed expertise in vector design, molecular cloning, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, and use of retroviruses and lipid nanoparticle delivery for advanced therapy research. Sukhraj brings his unique skill set to CONCEPT, accelerating biologics and gene therapy research within our core facility.
